Are there any decent size boxes of baking soda in CH?

Is there anyplace that one can pick up a decent size box of baking soda around Zurich? All I can find are tiny pitiful packets in the baking sections of Migros and Coop. Name: bakingSoda.png

I've bought 1/2 kg boxes here somewhere, and 250g boxes at Denner.

If you go to a paint blaster shop they will tell you where you can get a 50kg bag.

Some of the ethnic shops have it in 500g bags/boxes.

Baking soda is called "Natron" or "Natronpulver". You can buy 100g bags at coop for 1.50 CHF.

Re: Are there any decent size boxes of baking soda in CH?

I have had no luck finding large boxes of baking soda, or baking powder. I bring them back from the U.S. usually. Since they last a long time, it hasn't been a big deal for me!

My OH gets it from the pharmacy. Just ask for Natron. And yes it is sold in larger quantities (250 gms I think) than the little supermarket packets.

BARKAT in Wiedikon (Birmensdorferstrasse 141) has 500 gram bags of bicarbonate for 1,25 CHF. The best deal I have found so far!

You could always try Aligro.

I don't know if they stock it, but it never hurts to look now does it?
