Do Migros stores generally carry soy products?
I'm not sure about Bern, but I know for sure that Migros in Zurich will have a selection of soy milks, tofu and soy yoghurts (which are particularly yum!). They're under the "Soya Line" range

Perhaps I will start a food allergy thread.
I know of a food store in Zurich that sells rice milk. I have not seen almond milk.

FYI, food is expensive here because the U.S. dollar has lost so much value (it used to be $.60 to 1 CHF, but now it is approx. $1.00 to 1 CHF) I pay 4.5 CHF for a box of rice milk.

Also, be careful because there are many sandwiches sold here and they all have butter on them! I haven't seen one without butter yet. And, as you probably know, all croissants are made with butter too.

Re: Do they have almond milk in Switzerland?

Re. soy milk, has anyone seen low-fat soy milk? I love it on my cereal, but the full fat stuff is far too heavy for me and so I have been resigned to drinking cow's milk lately, which is a sad second best.

Re: Do they have almond milk in Switzerland?

Hi
As well as the German words for Milk etc most ingredients are also written in French and Italian. A lot of products also have allergy warnings for Milk, Egg, Soya, Gluten, and Sesame.

Soya milk seems to be quite common and most supermarkets will stock some however it may not contain calcium (if it does there will normally be a malt extract added to it). You can get Provamel Soya milk from the Muller Reform Haus which has calcium and no malt but it costs around chf 4.50.

Tomcat – most people who have an allergy to cows milk will also be allergic to any other animal milk (I guess you were lucky in that respect with yours)

Hope you enjoy your trip

Alpro Soya Light

Hello!

I am looking for Alpro Soya but i dont seem to find it here in Switzerland (Luzern). I use Alpro Soya Light (1.2fat and 29 calories) enriched with calcium and b-vitamins.

Has anyone found it? i know there are plenty of soymilks out there but they are a little more fatty and have sugars and no extra calcium and added vitamins. And the flavour...it took me a while to find Alpro and most of all the other soymilks dont taste as good for me.

Anyone has an alternative suggestion or a place where i could buy it from?

Thanks a lot!

I am also looking for Alpro Soya milk - I found some at the Coop in Sihlcity a few months ago and bought a bunch, but haven't seen them since. Has anyone seen anything from the Alpro alternative milk(soy, almond, hazelnut) line anywhere in Zurich?

You can order this online:

There are some other online shops. I'm not sure if I can "advertize them here.
