Most usable hot-dog buns in CH?

I haven't bought any in a few years, but would like to make chili-dogs this weekend.

So, while I don't have a lot of hope, has anyone found some that are usable?

And if so, where?

Thanks,

Tom

Well, I'm not much help here, but I'm quite the connoisseur in the art of chili dogs.

Sadly, I've yet to find what I consider an acceptable hot dog or hamburger bun in Switzerland.

You're pretty handy in the kitchen, why not make your own? I've had this recipe for a while but haven't yet tried it:

If you need help, LiB and I can assist with quality control of the chili dogs.

I prefer Migros' Sandwich buns to any specific hot dog labelled ones I've found here. And I like their hamburger buns too because they're pre-cut. Unfortunately the sandwich buns aren't, but it's easy enough to do with my electric knife.

I second this.. The loose, long shaped bun things? Excellent..

Come 4 in a pack. They make the best buns for hot dogs for me. Though I've not tried with them chilli dogs.

It's all right. They're not on the banned breeds list. And they're always close to (like in) hand and under my control. Passed the theory test a long, long while ago and I've had plenty of practice.

St2Lemans,
I also find Migros hot dog rolls the most suitable, I like them real soft so make sure you find the softest, freshest. The come 4 in a clear bag with yellow panel.

Let me know if you find better! I'm not keen on the harder crunchy ones, no good for my toothless gums ha ha (kidding!)
