online wine sales in ch

Hi

Can anyone suggest anywhere online I can order wine and have it delivered within ch? Is French wine incredibly expensive there and are new worlds any less so? I've found one site (not sure if I'm allowed to mention it or not) and I am staggered at the prices of seemingly average French reds. I'm sorry if it sounds hugely ignorant not to be considering swiss options but I know nothing about it and have yet to be enlightened or not as the case may be

I don't buy wine online, but otherwise you will find wines and spirits are cheaper than in the UK...

Re: online wine sales in ch

As a newbie to Switzerland, I've not had anything large (like a carton of wine) delivered - I'm pretty certain I couldn't fit more than a few bottles in the box under my letterbox.

So what's the situation with deliveries to people who are at work all day?

Back in the UK it would mean a card through the letter box, then a 15 mile trip via public transport to the depot that served my half of london for that particular courier firm (plus the 1.5 mile walk from the trainstation to the depot)

Is the situation for deliveries of this kind likely to be any better here in Zürich? Should I just stick to getting my 2 bottles at a time from Co-Op every few days?
