Sun-dried cranberries were available at Aldi in Au (Horgen/Wadenswil) yesterday. I'm sure they would be available in the other Aldi stores, too, if one is closer to you.

From a more local perspective, fresh Mountain Cranberries (Preiselbeere) are available at the market in Oerlikon (Saturdays) and Bürkliplatz (Tuesday and Friday). Look for the guy selling lots of fresh mushrooms (also worth purchasing)

Saw fresh ones at the Kaufland in Konstanz 2 weeks ago Been thinking about buying them early this year and freezing them... Saw them almost everywhere for about 1 month last year and disappeared in mid December. Boy was I disappointed
For anyone who is fairly new here, if you want to make cranberry sauce for Christmas, buy them now, as they always disappear by December, and then there are no more to be found once they are gone. You can either freeze them and use them later, or make the cranberry sauce and bottle it; it keeps fine, just like jam.
