Yes. The bagels are served plain at Blueberry and then you get your choice of a container of jam, butter or cream cheese. They also do nice bagel sandwiches! I am headed to NY in a few weeks and will eat my weight in everything bagels while there. And GOOD hamburgers
Aldi and Lidl occasionally have an American theme which you can normally buy bagels. I've also personally made this recipe before (then you won't have to drive anywhere) *enjoy* http://allrecipes.com/recipe/boiled-bagels/detail.aspx
I just saw this on Ron Orp this morning (an ad)......But they seem to have a wide array of bagels and other things including sandwiches, salads, cupcakes, donuts, etc. and are one of the less expensive places I have seen...
Now if someone would only open a REAL hamburger joint here. If I had millions I would do it. I know the expat community alone would make it float...Ah to dream....
This user would like to thank Leenie for this useful post:
There are plenty of good burger places in ZH, as soon as we hear about them we try!
So far my favorites are (in order) Park Hyatt, Goodmans (ask for BBQ sauce), and Helvetic Diner (the strawberry milkshakes are good, but expensive....but good).
Another one just opened up over by Stockerstrasse and we are going next week.
So even though there arent any "burger joints" per se, there are plenty of places to get a great burger.

thanks for sharing! are the park hyatt burgers american straight-up style? (i.e. just meat, without all the "stuff" mixed in that makes it like a greasy meatloaf on a bun like the other burger i've had in zurich)
Coop just started selling good ones, vacuum packed, packets of 4, sesame topped, MADE IN ENGLAND, and they are excellent. Not a silly price either. I found them in Witikon Coop last week.
