A haggis for Burns night

As we approach 25 January and the 250th anniversary of a great scottish poet, I was looking to serve inedible food to friends.

Does anyone know where to get a haggis (meat and veggi) in switzerland, preferably the Luzern area? Or even tried to get one sent over from Scotland?

All other jockeria in place with tartans, whiskey and speaches, although turnips may be a challenge too......

Re: A haggis for Burns night

I have ordered one from this bloke, based in Luzern. He says he has a limited amount of both MacSweens and Colin's in stock.

Smashed neeps? Havent been able to find them- have been trying to decide on an alternative vegetable.

Did you find any or what would you recommend as a replacement?

Cheers!

Does anyone know where one might be found in Basel? I've left it too late to order from the internet of course....

Mine on its way but will not be here tomorrow. I figure after 250 years he can wait another week - especially as it will definitely be a saturday not a sunday!

Re: A haggis for Burns night

Managed to procure a haggis (made in Switzerland!) from Fenwicks in Missionstrasse in Basel, so happily munched on haggis & neeps on Sunday
