Hi, if you live in Lugano I have just found a great Malay and Indian food shop.
Ooooo....It was like paradise for me in their yesterday.

It is quite a big shop , like the small co op by the airport in Agno, and an amazing selection of cuisine from fresh to frozen to packets , Indian Thai ,Ghana , Chinese and much more .

Think its been there ages but boy what a find for me a curry addict and I wanted to share my find with you all !!! Really off the beaten track would never ever have known it was there !!

Trouble is my directions are useless, so if anyone is interested then let me know because tommorrow I am going that way and will write the address down, google it and post back to you.

Hi there. Just seen your old post about Indian shop in/around Lugano. Has your sense of direction improved since last winter or perhaps you've simply managed to write down a telephone no. or address? I'd be very grateful as I'd happily live on Indian food.

Hello there, so sorry everyone for not replying sooner, I think I put the answer on the Glocals forum and not this one....oops sorry. It is an amazing shop, rather big actually, like a small co op.
Ok ....it is on Via Alla Valetta . I only know the way from Montagnola as if you are going to Lugano. You turn right and go down the windy road down, a bit like the Monte Carlo road ...on a smaller scale, towards Lugano. When you hit the traffic lights you see a big pale yellow building on your right that is a Franklin College residence, now literally just before the entrance to this building is a small right turning , that is a one way street, you turn right down there and viola it is there at the bottom.
Hey...Check out videojug.com as it shows you how to make Naan and Chappitis and what ingrediants to buy ....great site...all sorts.
