Who's been polluting your mind and telling you there's more than one way to create a bacon butty?? What's another version of a decent bacon nutty??

In the UK there is only one way!! The only debate is ketchup or HP. It's the law
Ketchup, HP? Wash your mouth out. Straight-up is the only way.

Thanks for that - your recipe is now in my cook-book file!

Just a question .... in the last sentence of your recipe, about the gelatine, you say "carefully pious a little of the gelatine mix into each pie" ...
What does that mean? Pour it into the holes on top?

Sorry for my stupid question, but even at my advanced age I`m still a Learner Baker!

ooh yes, I'm still new at this whole blogging thing and made a typo trying to finish it off quickly so I could post it !!
Thank you - I don't have a proof reader.... I think it should be corrected now..

I actually used a piping nozzle that i stuck in the top of the pies as it was hard getting the gelatine mix not to dribble out of the top....

Although they do look very nice, this has to stop. PLEASE! It's visual torture. It's worse than Anjela bragging that she has stocks of bacon.

Hey, I've a long history of making raised pies too.... and scones, clotted cream, crumpets, bread, etc.

Shame it's just me in the house most of time, so no incentive to bake anymore!

I'll see your pork pie, and raise it with a game pie.

Small tip for you. I tend to put foil over the top as it browns a lot quicker than the sides,
