Did you ask Migros-Klubschule? They have cooking classes, so they might also have baking classes. Just an idea, though...

Re: Baking Classes

Yayyyyyyyyy.... I finally found baking classes in Alsace( just across the border) and spoke to Sue Style who is well known for her culinary skills (check the website...suestyle.com)Sue is happy to hold baking classes but we need a minimum of 6 people... There will be a total of 5-6 different things that we will bake hands on like cakes, tarts, desserts....the charges are 110 franks per person including ingredients etc and then we get to sit and taste what we have made....Is anyone else interested and then we can speak to Sue and arrange for a convenient date...the baking class will be from 9am to around 12.30ish.

Re: Baking Classes

i would kill to join the class but unfortunately I live in lausanne! 5 hour travel + the cost of travel would be a bit too much.

Hmmm

How long does it take to get there from Basel?

And, to ask a (maybe) dumb question, is that 110chf per class or total (and for how many classes)?

Re: Baking Classes

It would take approx 30 mins by car from the centre in Basel and the cost is for 1 class which starts at 9am and finishes at approx 12.30-1 pm.
