Korean noodles soup recipe

Hi Everyone

I am looking for a noodles soup recipe preferably korean style.I had noodles soup in a BnB we stayed in recently. The host is a korean and hence i assume it should be korean soup.It was actually very spicy but tasted delicious.

Yesterday i bought some noodles and tried to make the dish(recipe courtesy:my taste buds)but failed miserably .Now its lying in the organic waste cover. Please someone out there, share the recipe and also suggest which brand noodles should i buy.

I checked in the net but could not decide which one would be better as i have no hands on in either chinese or korean cooking.

Thanks everyone.

Cheers,
Nirmala.

Hi Nirmala,

I think Buckwheat noodles are used in Korean dishes. I'm sure you can get them at most of the Asian grocers. You can also use Udon noodles, my favourite.

Here are a few links for Korean noodle dishes:

Apart from Bulgogi and Kimchi, my most favoured Korean dish would have to be Kalbi Jim .... DELICIOUS ! Here's the recipe.

Enjoy

There's a Korean shop at Shoppi & Tivoli Shopping Center in Spreitenbach which should be able to help you, see the following post for details:

Ethnic Grocery Stores

At Migros they have a section where they offer a lot of Asian goods including many different kinds of soups from different Asian countries.
You may want to try and I hope you will find what you need.

Good luck,
