I've been to El Maiz and love it there, but it's a haul to head to Zurich just for a few ingredients. For all your Luzern residents out there, does anyone know of a Mexican food store in Luzern?

I could have sworn that I saw one next to the Crazy Cactus on Baselstrasse on the bus ride out to Emmen the other day, but couldn't tell for sure.

It's there, but I haven't been inside for a few years. Not sure if they have the same as El Maiz.

Wandered over to those parts this weekend and while there isn't one next to the crazy cactus, there is one further up the street on Baselstrasse.

Not at all the selection you get at El Maiz, but served me well as I was just looking for Maseca corn flour in order to make corn tortillas. They also had a decent selection of canned goods (including tomatillos, black beans, nopales and chipotle peppers).
