Re: Post photos of what you cook and bake in Switzerland

Use cream instead of butter in baking a cake. Texture is nicely dense but tender and soft - lovely flavour too! My newest favourite cake recipe:

http://www.realbakingwithrose.com/20...e.html#c193793

Use either a tube pan or Kugelhopf pan or as cupcakes in paper cups. Lovely! Love the crumb! I can't recommend this enough.

I ran out of time to do the bodies in detail and so just had to run with the shapes. Next time I'll allow myself more time and do the bodies as well

Wow, what a fantastic cake. I have never seen anything like that in my whole life. But how to eat such a cake? Should we start off with the mice first?

Week end means pizza in our house, since we have more time to make it.
Here are 2 of the ones we made: pizza with pesto and an italian-swiss hybrid: pizza with roesti and swiss cheese it's good! Notice the bubbles on the dough
Cheers

Last week I've been busy making birthday cakes and thoroughly enjoyed it. I made an Angry Birds cake for my son's birthday party
I also made an ICE train as a favour to one of our neighbours.

Panda bread! I accidentally dropped the loaf pan twice before putting it in the oven, so the panda face got a bit smushed...
