You can get poppy seeds in a 50g pack in Migros and Coop. Blau Mohnsamen or just Mohnsamen in German.

May I ask if you followed the recipe of the Swiss meringue frosting? Because I tried to make it, wit very little sucess. Beating the egg whites over the boiling water didnt work out, and they didnt get stiff. | Quote: | |  | | |

I used a whisk to beat the egg-whites over the boiling water and they fluffed and stiffened up perfectly. It takes quite a while though, long enough for your arm to get sore and the egg-whites to get 'hot'. |
