I have never had the trace of a headache, despite quaffing quite a few litres on occasion, on the Fisherstube beer. Good stuff.

.. is there anyone who goes to paddy's or mcguinness quite often? just looking for some company who are atleast 21. i'm only 18 and so i can't really go in by myself or with friends my own age, since you have to be atleast 21 to get in. and i'm really craving for a nice cold pint of guinness. or does anyone know other pubs who serve this delicious drink? thanks

Voltshaus in Claraptz has Guinness on draught. (and doesn't have a door policy the others have )

7ty One in Kleinbasel is also nice, it's a piano bar. I like Bar rouge early in the evening before it turns into a night club...great dirty Martini's

PWs I know I can go into alone and will always bump into someone I know. Ono is nice but somewhat pretentious, as is Noohn, but I love the terrace in the summer at Noohn.

Steinenvorstadt - it is the street with all the cinemas on it, just next to Starbucks and up a bit from Barfuzerplatz.
