Re: Polish Restaurant?

Ha ha. I was just about to update ....

I am receiving a fresh batch of perogies today at noon on flight LX **** from Warsaw.

Unfort my friend made them fresh and only made one/two servings for a single meal.
(He misunderstood my request for large quantities.)

So I cannot share this time. Sorry, Jaro et al.

Re: Polish Restaurant?

But I do plan to visit London soon; my friend there says there are enough perogies to invade Germany with. I will look for frozen packs.

In related news, my friend in a weird coincidence also went to the Cheemo Perogies website when I did last week. She has cooked a veggie perogy lasagna from one of their whacky recipies.

Re: Polish Restaurant?

if anyone still interested in pierogies I have a connection for you. Wife of the butcher I know makes them. They are fresh, home made and incredible. All you need is to slap them on a pan with some butter and onions/bacon and eat...she makes various types..She makes them to order. PM me and I will send you her email. She speaks Polish and German.

Also, if anyone interested in fresh meat...I just got 3kg of rib eye steak in one piece for CHF28kg...all fresh, all from local cows ..
got a slab of pork ribs with meat attached (good for pork chops) for CHF14kg...the guy works there for past 10 years and I simply walk in and select what I want and they cut it for me...quality is top notch...I grilled the rib eye and the ribs this sat and they were out of this world!

PM me for details...
