You can also buy is silly little packets in the super market at very inflated prices. The product is exactly the same.

I apologise unreservedly for my snottiness. I do hope the helpful posts in this thread and in countless other threads on EF on this very subject, easily found if you search the forum, will help you to find baking soda in Switzerland.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any help finding brown sugar here.

Hi,
Note that baking soda is not the same as baking powder.
Baking Powder is "Backpulver" in German.
Baking Soda is "Speisesoda", 'Backsoda" or "Speisenatron".
It is usually sold under the following brand names: "KaiserNatron" or "Bullrich-Salz
Google and EF Forum search are your friends, don't ignore them
Happy baking
Joey

Baking soda - go to peacefoods - they are on the same street as the Lättich swimming pool in Baar | | This user would like to thank Jo-Jo for this useful post: | | |
