Re: Buying reasonably priced booze for party - where ?

If you are limited to Beer and Wine, i had suggested the following..

Wine - DENNER (no-one can beat that... you can get a huge variety there with some big discounts every week... http://www.denner.ch/fr/aktionen/aktionen.php?)

Beer - Have a look in Co-op (http://www.coop.ch/pb/site/common/no...html#wein/bier) and Aligro for deals, coz Denner doesnt house the best of beers ( I never found a Carlsberg or a Guinness)
Otherwise, Heiniken in Co-op with 15% discount would be almost the same level as normal price in Denner.

Drink responsibly

Lidl or Aldi, I have seen 6 packs of beer for 2.39 in Lidl..of course it all depends on if you after quality or quantity..

He wanted to keep the quality up!!!

I bet anyone, that if you showed me a bottle of wine from Denner and I will able to show you a better bottle of wine from an independent retailer whether it be me or Schubi or Movenpick for a similar price.
I'll take you up on this one... Corvo Rosso from Denner @ 7.95fr

go on...

Beer is dirt cheap in Switzerland compared to Australia.
.
**** yeah, a 500ml tinnie is about 1/2 the price here at the Denner etc, and you can drink it on the street.

To the OP, if ur really serious then go to a liquor supplier/wholesaler and try to ask for an account, then order a few kegs and a tap. I think we ended up paying 4CHF/litre for the Feldschlossen, delivered and picked-up. But we were lucky as we had contacts in the biz. Good luck.

Try Aldi. Their booze is cheaper than Denner.
