So many food threads today...

Has it changed your dinner tonight ? I just said bugger to a chicken Gordon bleu and CJ has nipped off to McDonalds...3 plain burgers and fries coming my way...and I never usually touch the stuff.

P.S.

The chicken did not understand.

Re: So many food threads today...

I've lost my appetite after attempting sliced mozzarella with a very sorry substitute for parma ham. Mcdo sounds good, though... I think I drank an un-ladylike quantity of beer last night.

Re: So many food threads today...

I was considering popping out for a burger. Goodman is open on Sundays.

I do have some nice ravioli in the fridge and also some good wurst and sauerkraut, so really I should stay in.

Re: So many food threads today...

our local shell sells some burgers (made by a local butcher) that are to die for. these, cooked with extra cheese is usually our sunday dinner (as we are never organized enough to have bought anything for sunday)

but right now i am really craving a pizza. too bad that the only descent option for pizza in bern is closed on a sunday (surprise, surprise)

ps: i love all the food threads !

I didn't see all the food threads today - was too busy in the kitchen.

fresh pumpkin soup
roasted pumpkin seeds
oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
banana bread with raisons and walnuts
thai chicken with veggies (spicy)
thai chicken without veggies (not spicy version for the kids)
spring rolls

Time to eat!

Re: So many food threads today...

wanted fish and chips today the real kind salt and vinegar on top but that ain't available here.

made some home fries with some merguez... yeah mega healthy.

last few weeks I've done loads of baking mixed with fried foods once a week(which is much more than usual).
I should post pictures of some cupcakes I did a few weeks ago for a birthday party. Girls loved them but they didn't love me back

Nip out when he's not looking, head down to the Beaujolais Greek restaurant in the Seefeld district (I can't remember the exact address), and order their kleftiko. It's delicious!

But not on a Sunday...
