Kanom Tuy recipe

One of the Asian markets here in Basel carries a frozen version of the Thai dessert called "Kanom Tuy."

It comes in a package of 6 little ceramic bowls with instructions to microwave or steam them on the back.

Hubby and I both really enjoy this dessert, the (2 part) question is - 1. does anyone have a good recipe to make it ourselves and 2. what in the world to do with all these little bowls we have now?

I did some searching online and found a recipe, it looks like it would be the right thing BUT as this is new to me, I'm curious what someone "in the know" would think of it before I invest in the ingredients to try it myself.

This is a pic (swiped from another forum ) that shows the bowl and the packaging from the store.
