and your "D" key too by the looks of it.

There are lots of places in Zurich and you might find somewhere in Rapperswil which has matches.....I am sure the Lions, Nelson, Twist and Paddy's have the bases covered

Hi Rob

I doubt you'll find any bars showing UK footy round our neck of the woods (let me know if you do though) as Lob says, you're best off catching the train to Zurich or Rapperswil. I do though know an English couple who run a Berghause on Kliener Flumsberg www.sassliwiese.ch and they have a big screen TV - I''ll ask if they would consider showing some big games - any teams in particular you follow?

Mike

Hello Mike,

thank you for your reply. checked out the site you sent. i am in between flums and walenstadt. thought this place was flums, however it s st. gallen. i think thats just about the same distance as going to zurich from here. rappersvil doesn t seem all that far though. i will look into that.

I am a USA national team fan mostly. going to see the boys play sweden later this month in sweden. I am becoming more of a fulham fan with all the yanks now on the starting squad though.

cheers,

Rob

Hi Rob

You're very close to us then - the hotel is on Flumser Klienberg, Kanton St Gallen - through Flums (from the highway) and turn left up to the small mountain - they're near the top so it's a bit of a drive. I've e-mailed them to see if they can get any footy channels and I'll let you know.

I follow English and Spanish footy. For my sins I'm a long suffering Leeds fan

Well, whenever you plan to head either way, please let me know. I'm in for any footy these days. Send me a PM, and as long as it's not office hours I'll be there.

What about some American football as of next month ? Sunday, Sep. 9 there's the Giants vs Cowboys (I'm a Cowboys fan and judging by your nickname you go for either the Jets or Giants, so...).
