Anyone out to watch it in Zurich tomorrow? I'd really like to know which pubs are likely to be showing it, and where there's likely to be a good crowd!

Hope to watch it live at home in HD, but have setup the timer just in case... Can't wait. Will fill the gap till the F1 starts up again.

Add 1 hour to these KO times for CET as these are all UK/I times. What a great time of year, if only for the 6 Nations. |

Any views on games so far?
England - playing well, though against lesser teams - sorry Welshies but that's the truth - particularly pleased that they managed to put the screw on Italy. Yes they had themselves to blame and made it easy for England, but my gut feeling is that England teams of the past few years wouldn't have managed it.
France - usual story of "which team is going to turn up?", but had enough class to have seen away Scotland and Ireland.
Ireland - what the...? Seem to have imploded and no new blood on the sidelines.
Scotland - likewise, an upwardly mobile trajectory seems to have been reversed. Badly. Will probably beat England (it's the one game they get right).
Wales - similar to Ireland, only worse.
Italy - Lucked out against the Irish, and coulda/shoulda/woulda recorded a great win.
Predictions for the next round:
Italy - Wales : 3 - 24
England - France : 22 - 16
Scotland - Ireland : 6 - 15

I'm still confident that Ireland can win the triple crown, though I realise that the evidence points very much to the contrary.

Squad to face Ireland:
Ben Foden, Chris Ashton, Matt Banahan, Shontayne Hape, Mark Cueto, Toby Flood, Ben Youngs, Nick Easter (c), James Haskell, Tom Wood, Tom Palmer, Louis Deacon, Dan Cole, Dylan Hartley, Alex Corbisiero.
Replacements: Steve Thompson, Paul Doran-Jones, Simon Shaw, Tom Croft, Danny Care, Jonny Wilkinson, David Strettle.
Will be interesting to see Banahan play and whether they include a more "direct" approach in play from the centres, as well as the more creative back three.
My other worry is that Hape will be exposed defensively position-wise, although he had a good game against Scotland with good hits IMO.
I'm interested to see what Strettle might do as he's been out of the international scene for a while.
Thoughts from any of the other 6N fans out there?

With the Grand Slam at stake, we should be up for this, but recent form against Ireland doesn't bode well. However, the Irish are looking none too pretty themselves at the moment, so could be a close thing. My (biased) opinion is England to edge it by less than 6 points.

It will be a corker of a match.

As ever all teams are up for beating England - let's face Lièvremont was right on that one...
Hopefully it'll be a good game, and in the pack, I think we're starting to see players developing into international standard. Not sure about the backs yet, as they've stuttered in the past couple of matches. Also, for the first halves against both France and Scotland, England failed to match up in the first half forwards' battle. So they'll really need to push from the first minute on that one.
If we don't get the slam, at least I think England will win the 6N, which is a massive improvement over past years and will be a good boost for the RWC.
Who is your most "improved player"?

Word for Tom Palmer too, can't really say he's most improved, as he was hardly in the side till Lawes got his ban.
