Football/Soccer in Lugano - where can I watch it?

Hey everyone,

This is my first post. I'm moving to Lugano soon, and I'm wondering if there are any places to watch Football/Soccer there?
I've searched ALL over online to watch English Premier League/Champions League football and I can't find any bars or anything that show games..

This is really starting to worry me lol!

I'd really appreciate some advice about this..

Common.. there must be a bar or something in Lugano that shows English premier league football and Champions League!

We went to visit Lugano last year and that night was a match between Barcelona and Madrid. We found a restaurant in Paradiso where they were showing 2 matches at the same time! I don't remember about the other match, but you could try. The street is Riva Paradiso and it's located a bit after Hotel du Lac but on the opposite side of the street. I hope you'll find it!!

I already got in touch with them via Facebook. They don't show any Soccer/Football. They only show American Football (NFL) and hockey and other American sports...

Well, at home I have SKY HD (Premiership, Champions League)...for Liverpool fans is free

How easy is it to get SKY over there? How much does it cost?

I'm in Lugano as of Wednesday, so I really need to sort this out

- as i'm there temporarily at first, but then once I move fully, i'd like to have options.

Really appreciate all you advice.

Dont know if this helps but we got a TV package from cablecom that includes the majority of english channels and a lot of premier league and champions league matches are shown on ITV1...

When theyre on sky my boyfriend just streams it instead as we havent found a solution for those ones.

If you are client of SKY (Italy or England) you can bring your own decoder and get a technician to install a dish.
Otherwise it's not possible to become a subscriber in Switzerland since they don't sell their services in the country.
