They really should have limited India to about 230. The fielding was the difference between the teams today.

A great game though. Glad it wasn't a thrashing for any side

Look at the positives, now they can ride the short bus home (only 2 hours away from Lahore)

Chokers of cricket SA crashed out and now jokers of cricket Pak are leaving too

What are we left with?

Overpaid Rockstars of cricket India vs home ground bullies of cricket SL

Pak players were mouthing off as usual before the match while indian players kept quiet. So India maintain the record of never losing to Pak in World cup finals 5:0.

What a start by Sehwag. It was the difference in the end. Off to Pakpassion cricket forum to sprinkle some salt I love my Pakistani brothers to be honest. Well played Pak. Riaz looks awesome prospect and more importantly he seems like a nice guy.

Any chance of giving him to us?

Poking fun aside I feel for Pak fans. This is a journey we both know is hard for the heart and our blood pressure. Your bowling combined with our batting would be a match made in heaven.

I wish you had played Shohaib Actor. We could have finished the match lot earlier that way :-)

I think India luckily made 260 runs in the end . The way it was going I was afraid the score would be below 230. Also if Pakistan had taken the power play earlier, it would have been tough for India.

I am looking forward to the finals now

Luck has nothing to do with it. If we go by ifs and buts then India should have made 330 easily after the start Veeru gave them. He completely took apart Umar Gul their best bowler which set a tone initially.

So in sports ifs, buts and hindsight wisdom are meaningless. PP has been a curse for batsmen in this cup so who knows what might have happened if Pak had taken it earlier?

The difference in the end was the piss poor pakistan fielding. If that was up to scratch and they took one of the 4 dropped catches on Tendulkar this could have been very different.

Congrats to India. The better side on the day.

Aside from the four dropped catches there was the plumb LBW which the tracker misjudged because it didn't pick up it was the doosra. When the computer gets it wrong that's nothing but bad luck

Also I'm not sure why you registered on the forum just to gloat.

I don't think it will. They played a good tournament. Typically the Pakistan team only get stoned when they play very badly...a la last two work cups and the final of teh 99 world cup.

When it does not go Pak way then technology is bad lol Tracker does not care about doosra, teesra or googly. It sees the trajectory and where it was going after pitching. You lost fair and square today.

Catching is part of cricket. If your team can't catch then it is your incompetent team and nothing to do with luck.

I joined the forum to enjoy the win with my desi brothers. You seem to be burning mate.

Indeed, in fact I was very pleased with Afridi's presentation speech. I hope Butt gets fired and not Afridi and Waqar.
India should offer to tour Pakistan and initiate the process
