Johnny Wilkinson has retired from international rugby. Never regained his magical form from the early noughties after a seies of injuries, but nevertheless was a great player and a great servant for England.

Just imagine what might have been without all those injuries... I'm not saying England would have been any better, but I think they couldn't have been worse, if you know what I mean! Part of the problem is that the England team spent close to 2 years waiting for "Jonny to be fit again"... that as much as anything held the team's development up IMO.
