Manchester City FC Swiss Supports Club

Hi Sports fans. Just to let you know that me and a number of ex pat Blues have now formed a Switzerland Branch of the Official Supporters Club. We aim to meet to watch a City game on television once a month. Our main base is in Zurich, but we are looking to recruit members from all over the country, and are happy to make occasional trips to other areas of the country to meet other blues and watch games. If you want to know more, or simply join the branch, thenleave us a message at our Facebook page (just search for Official MCFC Swiss Supporters Club).”

It was only a matter of time before they crawled out of the woodwork.

Didnt know such a thing existed!

Yeah. You are dead right. There was only 30 odd thousand at home games when we were playing third division football.

Re: Manchester City FC Swiss Supports Club

I met these guys during the City vs Utd FA Cup game in Paddy's. They seem a good bunch of guys and i'd happily join up to watch with them when they play us (Arsenal) next.

I'm sure we'll cross paths soon enough anyway, I'm usually in there watching the footy at the w/e!

Re: Manchester City FC Swiss Supports Club

Thanks for asking. Thought our 10 men were magnificent against United's 12 on Sunday, Paddy me old mucker. Last night we were absolutely awful and the dippers should have put the game beyond doubt in the first half hour. They didn't, so I'm upbeat. All to play for at Klanfield next time out. Feel free to come and join me and the lads at one of meetings if you want further info.

Re: Manchester City FC Swiss Supports Club

We were rubbish last night to be fair. Bordering in hopeless. I hope it not a taste of thing to come with the Toure2 and Kompany out.

Balotelli had a mare ....

I agree, T and K are vital

Still at least they had some support, albeit a half full stadium

Against United, once Bobby had changed the formation we battled magnificently. Compare that to United with the 6-1 where they went a man down and collapsed.

Against Liverpool pure dross, we stank. However only 1 goal down (and a soft penalty at that) hopefully we'll do them at the San Giro, particularly if we get a ref that calls fouls committed by Charlie Adam. Any luck Balo will be back to full fitness, he was clearly still carrying a knock on Tuesday.

My big worry was Silva, there was a rumour that he was subbed against United because a Carrick tackle had damaged (or even broken) his ankle. He's in Spain seeing the specialist at the moment.

Re: Manchester City FC Swiss Supports Club

Hmm, I would have thought a Man City fan wouldn't stoop to the ManU depths by the use of "dippers" and San Giro. Very poor.
I've always had a soft spot for Man City, mostly because they aren't ManU.

Rob, soft penalty? Savic dragged his studs half way down Agger's shin. You won't get more clear cut than that. We should have been out of sight after 25 mins, had it not been for a couple of outstanding Hart saves. I was a little upset at KK closing up shop in the 2nd half though, I've always been of the opinion that the best form of defence is attack. Then again, taking an away win back to Anfield is not to be sniffed at.
Yes, city were very poor and they seemed to be totally lost without a couple of key players.
