Lifetime Achievement Award for AP McCoy

Well deserved, outstanding horseman and a true professional. Champion Jumps Jockey for 20 years straight. First jockey to be voted Sports Personality of the Year in 2010. Rewrote the record books for the sport.

How the bloody hell is Beckham on that list?! What about the SPOTY vote? I'm going to be voting for Tyson Fury, besides being a big boxing fan I also hope he comes in the top three so's to show two fingers to that baying mob that wants him silenced.

Only in the UK, one can be voted Sports Personality of the year, years after retiring (Pele, Borg, Charlton etc).

Lifetime Achievement Award is not the same as being Sports Personality of the Year. Two different things. AP was named Sports Personality of the Year in 2010 having managed to finally win the Grand National at his 15th attempt!
