Seems the BBC have someone blogging it in Basel, time to make myself famous!
Have you missed this or do I state the obvious?

Help me - BBC journalist needs help!

Re: Official EF EURO2008 thread

Anything happening in Zurich city today? Any influx of football fans and accompanying festivity? I am off to check it out and do some shopping. Will report later.

Re: Official EF EURO2008 thread

oh I was in there, forgot to look.

Zurich is devoid of atmosphere right now. Just leaving platform 52 wearing an Italy shirt.

The only dirty looks I've managed to get were from 3 seven-year-olds on an S6 train. Must be the thought for them that they might only have three matches.

Three matches more than England, mind you

Re: Swiss vs Czech...

Is there another Senderos?!

He does a good seal impression! (Not so sure about his impression of a footballer though!)

I took one with my camera but it looks exactly like the one that pinki posted . Stuck my handy inside the perimeter fence thing to take the photo and some sucker shook the fence. Almost dropped my brand new handy They still working on the statue thing hence the fence around it.

Ok party people the day of reckoning has arrived and I am all excited Where will you be watching the match today? Alone in the comfort of your home? In the city? In a pub?

Re: Official EF EURO2008 thread

Boring first half. Switzerland played better than Czech Rep and had better chances. Frei out of the tournament?

Needs a Face-Off or three with John Travolta (Benaglio).
