| | | Naked Pole Vaulter in Paris
Did anyone else see the news last night, where the stark bollock naked, pole vaulter, Roman Mensil, was running around Paris with his huge pole? That man has some balls. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/athletics/7973543.stm |

Unless his pole is at a completely horizontal position and the perspective prevents the viewer from appreciating the extent of this unemployed sportsman's manliness.

I log back on and this is the tone of the reception that greets me. I am sorry to have to remind you, brazen hussy, but you are an accessory, in the slight, put toward our continental cousins, by whipping the atmosphere into a jingoistic affray. And unless you want me to spill the beans at the frontiere, you may want to adjust your attitude. |

Have you been going through some sort of self-discovery phase lately? |

The neutral ground that is Switzerland is ideal to settle jingoistic affrays, particularly the inter-Channel kind. Let us hope for a rapprochement between Mr Brightonite and his continental cousins who only seem poles apart (to remain on topic) but are in fact much closer than the former pole-micist would dare to openly admit.
