Burnley in premiership division

Having been to school in Burnley for 5 years - 200M from Turf Moor and having supported them for the last 39 years - just like to offer them my best luck for the first year in the premiership.

I used to watch them play mega teams when I was a kid - never thought it would happen again. No one ever seems to have heard of Burnley here in Switzerland.

Just spoke to my mum in Nelson (lancashire) and she says she has never seen the place so happy. Depressed Lancashire cotton mill towns normally. Even the churches and mosques apparently have claret and blue wearing church goers. About time something nice happened.
Commiserations to Sheffield Utd. - they really tried hard and to tell you the truth, I thought they would be the winners, but thanks to Wade Elliott, I do not have to spend yet another frustrating year watching Burnley rise and fall in the Championship League.
Just hope they do not go straight down due to lack of dosh.

Cheers Snoopy. Sorry - I forgot about the sueing episode with West Ham. I take back some of my commiserations . Look forward to our first match. Will be good for Claret and Blue whichever way it goes.
