Great race after a dodgy start. Will it start, won't it??
Alonso wins yay.
Kudos for Hammy, every time he was asked "is it dry enough, is it light enough" etc he just wanted to race.
Good solid 4th for Shumi.
Picked up a few quid on the bets as well.

Seeing what I saw in the last three races, the champioship will be all about reliability (of course not an expert opinion here):
1)Redbull has reliable pilots but not quite reliable cars. Vettel did it great today, but....
2) Ferrari (after the hiccups with the engines at the beginning) has reliable cars and a reliable pilot.
3) McLaren has reliable cars but not reliable pilots. Don't misunderstand me, Hamilton is a great driver, but often makes crucial mistakes, including today, in my mind at least.
I still believe Webber has the greatest chance, followed closely by Alonso.
In any case this is the least boring championship of the last few years, with the four drivers fighting very closely.

Very entertaining once it got going. You got to love Hammi for having balls. Feel sorry for Rosberg, he was going strong. And my boy Alonso raced perfectly through out the race.

If Alonso wants to win the title needs to win again in Brazil and keep Webber and Hamilton behind the 5th place, which I doubt...
This is gonna be really tight

No I don't believe he has used all his engines yet (but Alonso has).

Gotta feel sorry for Webber. Thought Button was a bit disappointing too.
Wish I hadn't woken up so early though.

They tend to run then in cycles and i believe he stii have number 6 an 7 to use.

Whenever Weber goes out he has to take a 'friend' with him- like girls going to the toilet. I felt to sorry for Rosberg, that was a nasty whack. Hamilton is still my favourite, but after all Hamilton's talk, Rosberg overtakes him. Anyway ood race in the end after watching the merry go round for the so long. The ned made me laugh Vettel saying it was too dark to drive, just before his engine blew and Hamilton predictably saying- it wasn't dark. It just made me sick the way the commentators were crooning over Button, Button drove badly, admitted it and the fact that he now has no chance. He has to Kow-tow to Hamilton.

So has Redbull managed to throw away the drivers championship? if Vettal haddn't been racing webber then would his engine have lasted? going flat out on a 3 race engine isn't the wisest move.
I hear horner still isn't going to back webber even with vettal 24 points behind alonso.

Got up just in time for the restart. Good job too as I am not sure if the last part would have been recorded as they switched to BBC2 due to the delayed restart.
Shame about Rosberg. Sounded like Webber went back on the throttle too early. He may have been able to have beaten Alonso with the pace he had in the wet.
Also shame LH outbraked himself after he jumped FA in the pitstops as that could have been exciting watching Alonso try and pass him on the track (mind you it could have ended in disaster as well).
Think Button is out of it unless the top four out themselves in the next two races. Interesting how LH can get so much more out of the car. Hopefully he can do enough to help take some points from the others, but he does not seem to be doing this any better than Massa is for FA
Webber and Alonso must be favourites, with Seb & Hamilton still in with a chance if the others have issues.
Vettel's engine was on it's last race and he has other engines to re-use for the remaining races.
Alonso is in a simular situation with just used engines left, so this may hinder his chances with either a DNF or a 10 place penatly to get a new engine.
This could be an exciting finish to the end of the season.

The RBR car is without a doubt the best car. Hamilton and Alonso are without a doubt the best drivers. Wouldn't it be nice if Alonso wasn't such a cry baby when they were both at McLaren. It would really have been a dream team!
RBR should have won this a long time ago. They need better drivers.

Therefore, how would you compare Webber's mistake to Hamilton's? One driver (Hamilton, with a difficult car) lost a place, the other (Webber, with the fastest car in the field) crashed himself and another car out of the race.
It would be interesting to add up the different incidents between drivers if you count Vettel taking Webber and Button off the track (Turkey & Spa), and include Webber crashing into Hamilton in Australia. The Hamilton / Webber tangle in Singapore was debatable in terms of blame. Hamiltons accident in Monza was probably luck rather than anything - we've seen drivers bang wheels far harder than that and get away with it..
In summary, I would say that Mclaren's drivers are definitely no less reliable than Redbull's - just look at their pole to win ratio..

Redbull is in danger of losing both Drivers and Constructors championship. Maybe its time to make Webber as their number 1 driver
