| | | The FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa thread
Seeing as the draw is today, is it maybe a little too premature to start a thread about it?
Anyway, I hope we avoid France or Portugal.
And I'm loving the way the French are livid that we are seeded and they're not |

Both France and Portugal are above England in the world rankings and they both got further than England in WC2006. http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/ra...llranking.html

Reason # 6 why England can win WC 2010:
When Spain won Euro 2008, it was 44 years since they last won the tournament. In 2010 it will be 44 years since England won the World Cup.

I'm happy to take anyone we get. We'll have to beat everyone at some stage if we're going to win it. Come on England.

In 2010 it will be 44 years since they won (with home advantage) so why should anything be different now |

Im Peruvian but since my national team SUCKS BIG TIME and I do not think we will be going to any world cup in the near or far far future... I am happy to support The Netherlands...sorry lived there too long I guess. Otherwise I like England better than France |
