Can Leeds do it again? (and other FA cup 4th round chat)

Personally I doubt it, after that famous win against our old rivals on t'other side o't Pennines (I don't want to upset any more sensitive fans with light hearted nick-names) we've lost some form. But it's great to be playing another top team again.

Other possible upsets from lower division teams hoping to get into the last 16 include Preston v Chelsea, Accrington Stanley v Fulham, Villa v Brighton and Scunthorpe v Man City (Sunday). The Preston game is on ITV at 1.00 Saturday and Leeds at 6.00 our time. Some of the games may be on some German channels as well, if you find them, please post them here.

Am I allowed to post my comments on this thread after the last thread I posted in about Leeds and facing a Premiership team in the FA cup??

Certainly!

Actually, we don't have a massive rivalry with Spurs apart from the North/South thing. I went out with a Spurs fan some years ago (well, a North London Jewish girl so who else would she support?) and took her to see Spurs v Leeds - her first ever game.

Afterwards I asked her what she thought of the game (Leeds lost BTW). "Well, the grass was longer than I thought it would be and that Lee Chapman has great legs!" was her reply.

Come on you Spurs... sorry Leeds, not a chance of making it through this round!

Yep in his day he certainly did have great legs Though these days he seems to be looking very botoxed (he's obviously been taking a leaf out of his wife's book).

OK back to football, I'm not sure if we can win tomorrow but I'm keeping fingers crossed for a draw so we can take them back to Elland Road and give them the full Leeds experience

I think a draw is the best that we can hope for but I would rather just concentrate on the league TBH

Didn't Cantona also take rather a large leaf out of his wife's book?

Shame really as if he hadn't had done that and caused so much team tension then he might have stayed at Elland Road and not defected to go play for s**m!! Maybe we should have sold Chapman instead....

I don't hold much hope for Brighton at Villa, but it is nice to dream. They did beat Villa to win the Charity Shield in 1910, so it could be their time again.

Ended up closer than expected. Perhaps they can concentrate on league survival now.

Now then! It's on ITV 1 if you have satelite, I'm watching ITV through Zattoo on my pooter and it's working fine. Naylor injured unfortunately, this will be much tougher than Manure.

Full pressure from Spurs but 2 great saves from Ankers. Bugger - penalty to Spurs

Missed first half Spurs v Leeds (was up your way GG having fun in the snow) but am now settled down for 2nd half. Gutted that we're 1-0 down
