Really? I must have tuned it at the wrong time for hockey on Eurosport, unless it's on Eurosport 2 or whatever it is? I only have the bog standard channels.
At least with the websites, you can get English commentary (I know Eurosport has dual language, not sure about the others??)

I'll be streaming the CTV feed through the slingbox. Not the best quality, but it will do.

It'll be on iPlayer. Sign up to a free trial VPN solution. Sorted. Much higher quality than Zattoo and English (albeit useless) commentary.

Close game, but US earned it.
go Canada!

This was a game the U.S. should have won, and did, but I was a little worried going into it. Because what I'd like to say to certain Canadian hockey fans (but not on this thread) also applies to the Americans---you can't expect to win just by showing up.
The next game is really big. For now, the U.S. has 3/4th of a chance at a medal, but if they beat Finland or the Czech Republic, they will get at least a silver and have a chance at winning gold for the first time in 30 years.
One game at a time, though. One game at a time...

I almost had to question Krueger pulling for the extra skater at the end.

Looks like the Canadians were hungry last night and feasted on Evgeni Nabokov!! I thought they played well - seemed really up for it, had better chemistry and definitely wanted to win more.
Go Canada!
Just seen that Slovakia knocked off Sweden 4-3, bit of a surprise result there!! This was the last chance for some of Sweden's players - no more Foppa or Alfredsson |

Another game against the Finns tomorrow and the U.S. can now expect to see 20,000 "Finns" miraculously fill the building booing against them. The American-Canadian rivalry is getting ugly and I'm looking forward to shutting those fans up.
It could have been worse, though. When the winter Olympics eventually moves to South Korea the U.S. team will need a police escort.
