It's a shame there has been a stink kicked up about it - I'm English and find the T-shirt idea funny and a carte blanche to come up with something better as a retaliation (of the banter variety).

Just another example of the incredibly annoying PC world we now live in. As for chants, there was another one a few years ago when Graeme Rix (also Chelsea) was sentenced for having sex with a 15 yr old girl. The Manic Street Preachers: "If you tolerate Rix, then your children will be next"

As a jock, this makes me smile. It's a shame that other countries haven't developed the ability to laugh at themselves as the whole thing about the t-shirts would be a non-issue.

actually, I'm sure if asked that many skirt-wearing Scotch would say "Anyone But France" - if only for this World Cup. After that, it's back to hating the English as usual
