Calendar view only current month

The calendar only shows entries for the current month.

Example: August ended on Thursday. A new event had been entered for September 1.

On August 31, when I look at the calendar, I don't see the event for September 1, unless I specifically click on the month of September.

So in August, with a quick glance, this can misleading because it looks like there are no events for the days which are in September.

I think it depends on where in August you were? I was looking at the calendar yesterday and I could see September.

In any case, that function is set - I can't change it unless vbulletin change it

It was like that a few days back, I noticed as I was helping Isabella with the invitation. Also, Nic told me last night that "there is no friday drink" as I guess she looked at the Calendar quickly.

Anyway, please repost the Change Request to vBulletin, this can't be the first time.

Probably the reason was that the thread for the those drinks was only created on the 30.08 - which is why she may have looked in the events forum and not seen it. It has been showing under the upcoming events on the front page for quite some time now - I've seen it myself.

I can't post a request to vbulletin, because I went to the calendar yesterday (August) and I did see the september events (see previous post). If I can see the problem with my own eyes then I'd be happier about reporting it! Guess we have to wait until the end of this month to see

Hi Mark,

Take a look at the EF calendar. You'll see no entries for the weekend. Now click into October and hey presto - you'll see an entry for Sunday 1st October, which wasn't visible from the September view.

cheers,

Yeah I noticed that. A couple of days ago I had the calendar set to October, then went back later in the day and saw October again - I think there might be some sort of cookie setting going on there.

I checked the latest version of VB -same. I can find a lot of people requested all sorts of features for the calendar, but I don't think it's been given a lot of thought. Bottom line: don't hold your breath for a change.

At least Sunday's events will appear on the front page for the events coming up in the next 14 days, they just won't appear until a user is in the October view. Sorry!
