Problem with Firefox accessing EF

For the last week or so my Firefox on my MacBook Pro hangs every time I try to visit EF. I don't have problems with any other site including other forums. I've tried going straight to the home, my UserCP and to other random pages and it just hangs and I have to force quit. I've emptied cookies and I still have the same problem.

At the end if the day I don't take part here much anymore but I do still have a few interesting things to say. I'm posting this on my iPhone btw

Any ideas?

Which version of FF and OSX..?

I've got FF on my Mac Book Air but rarely use FF, I'll play around with it to see if I get similar results.

I've not had trouble with Firefox here at the office.. but connection from my iPhone has been jumpy... maybe something in the iOS 5 ?

Just to feedback - I use Firefox with iOS 5 on my Mac Book Pro and have had no such problems.

OSX 10.6.8

FF is 8.0.1

All was working fine up until about a week ago and I don't remember changing anything at my end, and as I say, no problems visiting any other site. I'll add though that it has been intermittent but now it fails every time.

And yes, on my phone it is also very jumpy recently, prob all the ads here now.

Ok, so you've cleared the cookies, but have you cleared the cache?

I'm not experiencing any problems with FF. Running OS X 10.7.2 and FF (Nightly) version 11.0a1

I have OSX 10.6.8 and FF is 8.0.

After weeks of increasing problems with many sites (massively long load times for many pages), I removed FF and did a fresh install. I copied bookmarks from a backup, so that was the only thing I kept from the original installation.

Very annoying because I lost all my cookies (and since I had forgotten a few passwords, I had to send a lot of "lost password" requests), but now FF is behaving.

But it wasn't just EF. It was everywhere. And I cleared the cache and history before decided on this route.

I've got FF 3.6.24, on OS X 10.4.11, no problems on EF at all.

No problems with other sites, except those who've chosen to take the latest version of Adobe Flash, as they no longer support Macs without Intel processors ... May have to consider replacing my computer, if I want to play games ...
