Excuse my ignorance, but what does 'one-touch ban and clean' on people's profiles mean?

It's a mod thing to get rid of spammers and their posts in one easy to use transaction.

OTBC was created by the founder of this forum, the late Mark Fyvie.

New guy asking "Does anyone know what ....." ( OTBC )

In reality only mods and spam deputies should see the OTBC, and when running previous versions of the forum software that was indeed the case. However, after upgrading to current version of the forum the OTBC became visible to everybody, but still only usable by mods and spam deputies.

This proved to be a very difficult bug to fix as the OTBC code was written for previous versions of vBulletin, so in the end it was just left as it was.
