Forum visitor cards - redesign

Some of you may remember the visitor cards I had printed a while back. If not - refer here.

Anyway, for the upcoming Christmas party I thought it would be a good idea to get some more printed and leave them there for anyone who wanted to take some.

I figured it was time for a bit of a redesign. Since I don't have a lot of time at the moment I "borrowed" something from some friends of ours...

So now is your chance to vote. Here's the original:

Front

Back

And the redesign:

Alternate Front 1

Alternate Front 2

The idea with the new front side is to keep it simple, eye catching and to make a point. I think that by now the message is universally understood Note: I'm not redesigning the back at this stage (unless someone wants to do it for me)

Since this has to go to the printers in time for the Christmas party, you only have today (Friday 30 Nov 07) to vote.

I'm also thinking of getting a whole lot of badges made up with the black sheep and selling them at the door for a couple of francs. (one of our members made up badges a while back but I can't remember who it was). If you know of somewhere where I can get little button badges made cheaply and quickly please let me know. Proceeds will go to the forum maintenance fund.

How come Auslander gets his own name printed on a card: he is a Troll

I second Baa.

It was one of the nick* members. I think he's a mate of Terry and Hugh, if not, they will remember him. He got them made in the states and got them shipped over, IIRC.

The baaa design matches some shirts I've seen around.

It is NicM, and his flatmate Corey.

All the big badges arrived after the election. I think they have 500 of them or so. I have a sneaking suspicion that they will also make an appearance at the Christmas party (they being NicM, Corey, and the badges)

That's CoreyH for you!

The sheep design has come around but why not. I'd turn one sheep so they can face each other, because a forum is about discussion. Or you could place a laptop between two sheep who look at each other.

Re: Forum visitor cards - redesign

Bilanz magazine recently had a print campaign with our friendly white sheep rolling out a red carpet on the Swiss flag to Gold sheep; the implication being the wealthy are made super-welcome.

Being not mega-wealthy, I'm with Baa Baa Black Sheep
