Couldn't Start a Thread in General Chat

(but could in here ). I have just joined the forum and was going to post an introduction in the General Chat (seems to be where the intros end up) but it said I didn't have the rights . . . yet I could start a thread here. Not sure what's up with that??

Also a suggestion - maybe an Introductions forum where all of the Intros would be grouped together? I am a member of another Expat forum and find this a useful way to get "introduced" to everyone or see who's joined lately.

Looks like you just posted a thread, so I guess your problem is solved :-)

I'll add more sub-forums when there is enough traffic to justify it - but at the moment we aren't quite there yet
