Re: Just another day on EF

Thread # n-x: I suck at my job, but now that I know I am going to be let go, I suddenly recall a lot of mobbing behavior directed at me and a work environment / manager that has me really stressed out. Can they still fire me if I go on sick leave?

(where x is usually = (n-1) or (n-2))

There's dog poo everywhere.
Even in my letterbox.
Should I go to the poo police?

I'm leaving my appartment. I haven't cleaned it and half the stuff is broken. My landlord is making me pay to put it right. This is injustice.

Re: Just another day on EF

My kids' school is taking them hiking or camping or some other "might get slightly hurt" activity and my helicopter parent reflex is in emergency mode. Can I take my kid out of this activity?

Re: Just another day on EF

I spent the last days of the year gorging myself on Christmas turkey and now needed expensive treatment to take care of resulting health issues starting in January. I just got the bill and noticed that it is too expensive for me to pay CHF 2.5k deductible. Can you help me reduce my deductible as fast as possible and explain the entire Swiss health system to me including all specifics of my insurance company and relating to my personal situation in one short post?

Where can I get Maple-flavoured corn syrup sauce here like we get back home?

I can only find pure Maple Syrup here which is not the same thing at all.
Jest next to brown sugar.

I haven't reported the mold growing behind my placed-right-at-the-outside-wall-despite-landlord's-warnings-wardrobe for years and now that I'm about to move out and suffering from possible beginnings of allergy, I don't want to pony up the dough for a repair despite not having informed anyone - oh, I didn't inform my insurance company either, but...

Re: Just another day on EF

#x Importing a car from the EU
I know this has been discussed before BUT I can't find anything that covers my utterly unique (but identical to everyone else's) situation. The car is a worthless heap of junk owned by my father's 3rd cousin Borat. He has lived in the UK for the last 7 years but the car is still on French plates from when be bought it in Calais. I was thinking I could bring it over, drive it here for a few more years and then import it without paying tax and then sell it for much money. The car is lovingly called Dave and it is light blue metallic in colour - and has 5 doors.

Does that make it easier?

Also I don't actually want the proper answer, nor answers which would suggest I am being an idiot, I just want answers on MY thread that agree with me.

Somebody did something that's mildly irritating, but that I've blown out of all proportion. I don't want to ask them about it in case they are right or they just simply resolve my annoyance.

I urgently need a lawyer.

My neighbour is annoying me.

I don't know how exactly, but i'm sure it must be intentional.

I don't want to talk to him directly or do anything to deescalate the problem.

If you suggest I might be part of the problem I will groan you.
