Change Username

Hi guys,

Is it possible to change my username? (to just "monica" ?)

Or do I have to delete my current account and start again?

thanks in advance for your answer(s).

Re: Change Username

I would recommend choosing a user name which is totally unrelated to your real life name.

While I was Modding on here, I used to spend quite a bit of time PMing new members who used their full real name as their User Name. It seemed so harmless to them at the time. The trouble is that if they feel the need to have it changed later, the User Name as 'author' of all their old posts changes too, but the quoted ones retain their old name within the quote. So anyone who really wants to dig around, can do so. (Or maybe people trip over the real name by accident)
J. Marple was, I think, one of the ones I suggested change hers.. want to know more...?

Re: Change Username

I would suggest to use your real photo for avatar with surname but make sure you spell it backwards so that no one will ever recognize you on public forum

Re: Change Username

Yes, it's possible in these circumstances to change a user name. Please use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page to send a message to the moderators with either a completely unique name or if you can't work out how to find one then a choice of three that we can try.

Cheers

Yeah...I should have thought about a username more carefully. I'll think up something original, yet professional?
So no fairies, rainbow & crystals ...darn it!
