problem with vb theme used

hello webmasters,

On WinXP IE 7, when I edit a previously posted message, and I push the save button, the new page that appears (the post, with the recent changes) goes something like 105% of page width, thus, hiding about 10 chars of the left of the page.

Re: problem with vb theme used

Does the same on my XP comp at work but can't remember if it does the same here at home on the Mac with Safari (I'll edit this to see).

(nope, doesn't have the same action on the Mac)

It's a big in vBulletin. Refresh clears it. I bet DaveA experiences it quite often...

Re: problem with vb theme used

At some point in the future we (likely I) will be upgrading vB. Hopefully that'll fix the problem.

Yes dear, but as you know ..... the majority of users would feel helpless before such nuisance (that I never ever saw before on any vb-based website).

I strongly encourage a fix

For a number of reasons that I can't really discuss here, this will likely have to wait for an upgrade. Additionally, Mark heavily modified vB for EF, and Lob and I have to figure out what he's done without any documentation as to what was done other than the vB configuration panel. I don't want to accidently break EF and have an outage and/or a reduction of features if I can avoid it.

Again we appreciate your patience.

I'd be happy to help. But such a big decision belongs to the administrators.

I do have some nice experience with vbulletin. I have my own HUGE vbulletin forum here. Check it out! It is in arabic, and it is 3 million posts big!! At the second I am writing this, there are 1632 guys online on my vb!! Geee. nice huh ?

If the administrators invite me to help, I'd be glad to join the team

I think one of the issues discussed in this thread is the cause of the problem.
two small problems

IIRC, Mark set it up this way on purpose.
