You've been asked which thread it is by multiple people and are ignoring the question, so not sure how you can expect people to understand your references.
Which thread is irrelevant, because threads that I am interested in don't interest you and vice versa, it then becomes a beauty contest on how many say it should be left and how many say it should be deleted and that isn't the point. I'm not ignoring the question I'm working. I haven't posted on any other threads.

I'm also sure the Mod who deleted the post knows which post and which thread.

I think you'll find its more:

Mods, huh yeah
What are they good for?
Absolutely nothing, oh hoh, oh
Mods huh yeah
What are they good for?
Absolutely nothing, say it again y'all
Mods, huh good God
What are they good for?
Absolutely nothing, listen to me

...and just to add..

Oh, mods, I despise
'Cause they mean destruction of innocent lives
Mods mean tears to thousands of mothers eyes
When they go off to fight and lose their lives

Yes, of course, because we only choose to delete the posts we think you're interested in as a deliberate action against you, and therefore are perfectly aware of which ones you are talking about.

Re: Why are mods deleting posts?

Wow...I did not realize how important we could possibly be.

I don't know what got deleted but pretty much 100% of stuff that gets deleted has some decent reason behind.

Those who assume we get kick out of some power trip, come on. Sad. Is all this virtual stuff really that important, for any of us?

Let's allow ourselves some integrity.

*goes to get some ridiculous image to paste

Just because someone is paranoid doesn't mean the mods aren't out to get them.

Re: Why are mods deleting posts?

In another place, one chap threw his toys out of the pram when a moderator moved his vague, inarticulate question into the general area, and quipped it was for a laugh. In the various communications between him and the mods, he said "go on then ban me, you've be wanting to do it for ages". He hadn't even begun to register on the irritating little oik register. And no. We didn't oblige him.

And then recently there was this in a professional forum http://scn.sap.com/thread/3851086

It seems that preciousness over postings isn't limited to a single culture.

No, because I would expect the mods to know what is going on and who is deleting posts. If the mods don't know then who does?

As a guide, mods have deleted 50 posts since yesterday morning and 9 so far this morning.

Plus however many posts were deleted by the SDs - 7 spammers so probablya somewhere between 7 and 10.

The only vaguely useful non-spam ads that come to mind were from a photographer who dug up several old threads to advertise his website. If that's your issue then it was me. Yay, I'm a god!

They do, but they don't know which one you had decided to copy some links from as you refuse to say. But then again, "BULLSHIT. EF is now a complete joke" is an unhinged response anyway.

I'm also sure the Mod who deleted the post knows which post and which thread.
I'm pretty sure it must be me because of what had been deleted by the time of your post;
  • A one liner about a motherboard by somebody in Paris (no link) - Deleted by me as spam
  • Several threads about buying wooden furniture from Manchester - Deleted by another mod as spam
  • Several posts by a photographer advertising his services and website - Deleted by me as advertising by a new user.
Every one of those deletions were the first posts of advertisers/spammers, which clearly breached the forum ground rules.

I'm genuinely interested in what's upset you so much. If it's not one of the above and you don't want to say publicly, then PM me and I'll see if I can help check what happened.
