You are correct!

This is me in my Russian hat. Fluffy of course.

where can I find root beer?
Drink Shop Wiedikon, opposite the petrol station, 3 minute walk from Wiedikon station.

That was purely for the ones who saw ROOT-BEER and almost messed themselves - I got the undertones of the root beer reference! There's a diet/slimline/sugar-free version there too.

Re: Newbie Safe Zone\Attack-Free Thread

I think maybe the best way to describe Root Beer (As I sip away on one for reference purposes) is that if you could imagine cooling down, adding sugar to and carbonating the rub you put on to sporting injuries on a cold Wintry Sunday morning - then put it in a can and drink directly from said can! Think along the lines of Tiger Balm. Seems like a healthy "soft drink" but is far from it. I grabbed am aged vanilla version by mistake recently, do not copy me.

Re: Newbie Safe Zone\Attack-Free Thread

Root beer is a combination of stuff....originally sassafrass and sasparilla and wintergreen, plus a lot of herbs and spices. In 2014, i brought a bottle of root beer flavoring from New Orleans. Just add sugar and fizzy water. Wasn't bad......very strong wintergreen taste though.

Jeez, I am gone for 18 hours and you are all still on about root beer. BTW, I am loving this safe zone thread. This is the nicest I have ever seen Adrianlondon and dodgyken manage to be. Keep up the good work, men, and continue to channel your inner kitten.

Now, Big Mac, you only have a few hundred posts, so you are the newest person on here. Surely you must have a ridiculous question or two that we can answer nicely, yes? Give it a go. We are here for you.

I'm still on the topic! After a reddit/wiki/google search I just realized that alcoholic rootbeer exists!

I found several kinds of root beer in a German supermarket once when visiting, but I don't remember which it was; and reading these high-sugared back-and-forths aren't helping me progress in my hunt for a house.
