Being a newbie I tried out various features of the forum today (although I must admit it was by default and not by design). The forum is pretty extensive and lot for different users of it.

Who is the organizer / owner of this forum?

The forum was set up by Mark Fyvie who unfortunately passed away in an accident last year.

The forum is now operated by The Local Sweden under the leadership of Editor Bob. Information on this can be found here

And at a rough guess THIS is why Mods sometimes seem to go off the rails and react unnecessarily harshly.
