Calendar run over

There's a calendar event for Karaoke on 14 April. I noticed it also showed up on 15th. I've seen this before, when people post the end time of an evening event as some time early the next morning. I decided to edit it, but noticed that the end time was set to 23:59 on the 14th. I changed it to 23:30 but it still shows on the 15th.

(PS Secondly, I think that by editing the event, all of the RSVPs' disappeared, but I can't be sure)

OK, I've discovered now that if you set the end time to 23:00, then it doesn't show up on the following day's calendar.

Editing an event definitely does erase the RSVP info.
