Why was the complaint thread "Aldi are an absolute joke!" removed?

First of all: Could you please tell me who moved the thread?

Could you please give me a reason?

If it is because you want to regroup all complaints concerning price? Then how comes there is a thread "The price of consumables such as light bulbs" as well as "Absurd Swiss prices"?

Shouldn't I have a choice of whether I want to create a new thread or post the information on an old thread?

Thanks

Yes I had got that but why? Shouldn't I have the right to decide?

We don't need 100 threads talking about the same subject. That's part of why there are mods - to keep the forum clean and orderly.

BTW No offence but you don't seem that great at answering simple direct questions...Have you ever contemplated becoming a politician?

yes, you have the right to decide, but others have the power to over-rule your decision... guess who wins at the end?

long discussion like this somewhere else... you don't own your threads/posts, the EF does...

My problem is that it totally undermines my complaint. Hiding it at the end of a thread that is several months old pretty much guarantees that it will hardly be read...Hence meaning I have wasted my time writing it.

To be fair an entire thread of melodramatic outrage over the price of a 4.99 CHF pack of razor blades is a tad pointless, i'm not surprised it was merged.

Your worries are unfounded, that thread has had a total of 10,225 views to date far outpacing all but one other thread recently. With it being placed is such a high profile thread you can be assured that it will be noticed and read.
