The stereo in my car is broken; the thing is my car is ancient and probably won't last more than another 6 months or so when I hope to replace it. Because of this it is not worth investing any money for new toys so I was wondering if anyone has an old car stereo that they no longer need or want that they would like to give away? Does not have to be fancy just a working radio would make me happy.

I'm starting to put together a picture of Mud.. a little hermit in his workshop surrounded by bits and bobs, balls of string, wrinkled but still good pieces of aluminum ( al-you-mini-ummmmm) foil.

yep I have a couple of single din's knocking around, cd, radio, no aux inputs tho so you can't attach your ipod to em. pm me if you want one

Yes, pretty much Geneva. No problem to post it though. If you aren't a DIY type you'll probably need a hand installing it- that I can't do .

Oh most of my treasures are much more interesting than old car stereos! And Mrs. Mud is at least as much of a pack rat; her stuff is cleaner though, no greasy machines or mercury. I think we have about a metric ton of chick magazines and textiles- the knitting needles alone probably add up to 100kg . Nice thing about having a workshop (that's also my workplace) is all my stuff from home has been sent off there to make place for sewing machines and bass amps .
