Wanted: Bedlinen, 'standard' sized pillows (?)

Hi,

We will have a series of guests arriving over the spring/summer season.

If anyone has bedlinen, or 'standard' sized pillows - which to me means 45cm x 70cm (not the Ikea ones that are 'short' or the massive ones that are 100cm long! and not square ones!)...

I'm happy to take donations or to pay a fee plus postage. We are in Adliswil (Zurich)...

Edited to add: Cotton/Polyester/Foam is preferred. I'm allergic to feather/down...

Re: Wanted: Bedlinen, 'standard' sized pillows (?)

Manor sells standard size feather pillows for around CHF 14-20. In Zug, all the expensive ones are on the right and these are in a pile on the left next to the cushions

What size bedlinen do you need? I no longer have a queen sized bed and don't need the sheets anymore. I also have a couple of king dooner covers I was going to put in the charity bag.

50 x 70 pillows are also available at Interio.

What linens do you need and for what size bed?

Re: Wanted: Bedlinen, 'standard' sized pillows (?)

I have one bed size 90cm x 190cm (we'd call that 'single') and a 'queen' size - 160 wide x 190 long.

I think the doona cover should be 240cm wide for the queen size bed ?

I also have a sewing machine, so the King Size ones I could probably reduce down to fit the doona that we have...

Okay, in that case I have some things you might be able to use. Will send you a PM with the details.

Thanks for this post guys. I thought I was losing my mind for a second there. We're setting up the house at the moment and I haven't been able to find 'regular' sized pillows. Now I'm just thrilled!

Re: Wanted: Bedlinen, 'standard' sized pillows (?)

I bought a mattress protector at manor a couple of weeks ago - the store attendant was very helpful (in English) to show me the options and find me the cheapest one too! - paid 40chf for a 140x200cm fitted water-proof mattress protector...not bad at all by swiss standards........

Re: Wanted: Bedlinen, 'standard' sized pillows (?)

Success!

50cm x 70cm good quality synthetic pillows at Manor. Post christmas sales. 20chf each. Tried Globus, they had some marked as low as 50chf.

I was specifically looking for synthetic. Feather/down were even cheaper...

Same place. Lots of bolster inserts, and I'm sure you can find a 'standard' size cover there too - didn't look too far....
